Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1338m)
Welcome in Kathmandu! Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives welcomes you with a display board for Nepal All Trekking. After a brief introduction, shift to hotel and take rest ahead. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu- Nagarkot (2195m)
On this day our itinerary is drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is at an elevation of 2195 m, in 32 km northeast of Kathmandu. It is an excellent hill top for views of snowy peaks and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. In clear day one can see picturesque line of central Himalayan ranges along with Mt. Everest (8848m) in the far. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square en-route. Overnight in Nagarkot. (1:30 hour’s drive)
Day 03: Nagarkot- Kathmandu
In morning, wake up early to see eye-catching sunrise. After breakfast, if you want to collect hiking experience, make a short 3 hours’ hike to Changunarayan temple, UNESCO world heritage site. At Changunarayan we will pick you up and drive back to Kathmandu. If you don’t want to hike then, you may directly drive back from Nagarkot to Kathmandu.
Day 04: Kathmandu- Rafting en-route – Chitwan
After having energetic breakfast in hotel, we start overland travel towards Chitwan National Park. On the way, we stop to attain a thrilling white water rafting on Trishuli River. The rafting is going to be about 3 to 4 hours. Enjoy lunch at rafting end point and precede travel to Chitwan. At evening we entertain you with Tharu cultural performances. Overnight in Chitwan. (5 hours drive, 4 hours rafting)
Day 05: Chitwan National Park Tour
Breakfast is followed by full day safari activities deep into the national park. We are going to go Jungle walk, canoe ride, elephant back safari and explore elephant breeding center. If you are lucky, you will see some of amazing and rare creatures like rhinoceroses, Bengal tiger, leopard, wild elephant and many more. Shoot them with your camera lens and grab the moment for lifetime.
Day 06: Chitwan- Lumbini
Chitwan national park is one the fertile land for different species of birds. Early morning we will go for bird watching tour. After breakfast we will proceed towards Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is one of the four magnets of Buddhist pilgrimage and also a UNESCO heritage site. On reaching visit around Mayadevi temple and brilliant stupas made by different countries. Overnight accommodation will be in a chosen hotel of Lumbini. (5-6 hours drive)
Day 07: Lumbini- Palpa- Pokhara (827m)
Today is going to be a long hour drive. After morning breakfast journey starts along stunning green hills, beautiful valleys and high mountains. Palpa is one a historic hill station with ancient village life and magnificent view of hill’s geography. The road is pretty much zigzagging passing through top-down of hills. Pokhara is a city of tourist’s paradise with magic of natural splendor. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel. (7-8 hours drive)
Day 08: Pokhara city tour
Pokhara tour starts with early drive to Sarangkot to admire sunrise over Annapurna Mountains. It also offers tranquil view of Pokhara city. After, drive back to Pokhara where a whole day of exhilarating sightseeing tour awaits us. We are going to visit Bindabasini temple, Mahendra cave, Devi’s falls, Gupteswor cave, International mountain museum and eventually to Phewa Lake. Overnihgt in Pokhara.
Day 09: Pokhara- Kathmandu
Today we will take a bus ride back to Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu, check in your hotel and you will have rest of day to yourself. You may attain your personal activities or go for shopping. Overnight Kathmandu. (6-7 hours drive)
Day 10: Departure
This is the final day of this trip. Nepal All Trekking will give you departure transfer to airport to fly to your onward destination. We hope to see you again in Nepal.
